It takes more than 90 degree plus NYC days to keep FWA members and guest networkers away when it is FWA Meet & Mingle time. For a hot August night there were a cool 45 networkers at the monthly event.
Held at the semi-official FWA 'clubhouse' also known as Brasserie 8 1/2, with its spacious and airy lounge and sweeping staircase, the restaurant staff, as always, took excellent care of the networkers' refreshment needs.
FWA President Stephanie Hauge joined the NYC Meet & Mingle group for the first time since beginning her 2009-2010 term. We were delighted to have Stephanie with us as she chatted with members and guests from the event's beginning to end. Thanks, Stephanie!
Check out Stephanie's latest Blog with all the upcoming FWA happenings:

Nicki Gilmour, CEO of TheGlassHammer.com also made a guest appearance and did her own mingling and networking with the crowd. Thanks for coming, Nicki!
TheGlassHammer.com recently listed the FWA as one of the Top 10 Professional Networks for Women in Finance. We totally agree!

And of course, we have our usual fabulous photos - well the audience is fabulous, though the photographer could use some help! Anyone want to take over next month? I'll see if Annie Leibovitz is available for our September 14th happening.
Have fun finding yourself and your guests. For those of you who couldn't join us, be sure to mark your calendar now to join us for the September event.
Thanks again everyone. Enjoy the photos and we'll 'See you in September' - September 14th that is! It's already up on the FWA website:

Joyce,
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun and worthwhile evening. Thanks for being such a powerful hostess. I enjoyed meeting current members, as well as prospective FWA members. In our last FWA survey, networking was the most significant reason for being part of the FWA. Making the most of networking is key in terms of business development, and professional/personal development.
